Most candidates who find their way here are accomplished.

Direction Signs

They are also stuck or at least unsure of the right direction. That's not because their numbers or accomplishments are weak; quite the opposite. It's because they need to answer the harder question: what makes you compelling to an admissions committee beyond what's already on your résumé?

The answer to that question doesn't have a formula. I know, because I was on the other side of it for years, reading files, shaping classes, making decisions. I've seen brilliant candidates playing too small, leading with the wrong things, and walking away without an offer. And I've seen candidates punch above their weight when they finally understood what parts of their story actually mattered.

That's what I do here. Help you figure out what's actually powerful about your story and build an application around that.

The Best Decision I Made This Admissions Cycle

There is something difficult to articulate about working with Petia. She is one of those rare people who, simply by knowing and interacting with her, makes you grow. Her confidence in you feels steady and grounded, not inflated. And when you realize she truly believes in you, you begin to believe in yourself in a different way. Her depth of knowledge across industries, programs, and people is remarkable, but it is her ability to empower that sets her apart. She does not impose a narrative on you like a lot of other consultants (because “it worked” in the past). She helps you discover your own and stand firmly in it.”
